How many onions will I need?

Accepted Answer

1kg of onions fills 20-25 hotdogs approximately depending on the size of each serve, so
5kg - 100 - 125 hotdogs
10kg - 200 - 250 hotdogs
15kg - 300 - 375 hotdogs
20kg -  400 - 500 hotdogs
Please note that these numbers are estimates only.
Based on experience a large event where 1000 hotdogs may be served eg: Bunnings on a Saturday approximately 40kg of onions woud be required.

Question 2

How do I store my onion order?

Accepted Answer

As the onions are sliced fresh they can be stored inside the foam boxes that they are delivered in until they need to be used. We do suggest that if you are storing them in the boxes out in the open that an ice block or bag of ice be stored on top of the onions to help regulate the temperature. If however you have access to a fridge during your event storing them in a fridge would be an advantage (and would keep the odour to a minimum)
The foam boxes that they are delivered in are also a great way of keeping the odour from the onions down as the boxes seal and contain any odours.
If you do have leftover uncooked onions these can be frozen for up to 2 weeks. Simply remove leftover uncooked onions from plastic bag and store in freezer bags.

How fresh is fresh?

Your onion order is sliced and prepared according to the delivery time you set. Your onions will be sliced freshly on the morning of delivery. The only time we will slice and prepare orders in advance is if they are required to be delivered before 9am, which means the onions are sliced the night before and refrigerated overnight so that they arrive fresh the next morning.

What type of Bread Rolls do you supply?

Our Bread Rolls come in bags of 12 and are delivered on bread crates.
They come pre cut and are delivered fresh to you from our supplier on the day of your delivery.
The bread crates that are delivered can be returned to any local IGA, Spud Shed, Coles or Woolworths Store.
Crates can be left at the rear of stores near the loading bay.

Question 5

We've ordered Bread Rolls. What do we do with the Bread Crates they're delivered in?

Accepted Answer

You can return the bread crates to the loading bay area of any of the following stores for collection:
·        IGA
·        Coles
·        Woolworths
·        Spud Shed
Simply drop them at the store's delivery dock, and the bakeries will pick them up from there.

Are your BBQ Sausages Gluten Free?

Accepted Answer

The BBQ sausages that we supply are gluten-free and halal certified.
All orders are supplied fresh from our local supplier and delivered in boxes of 20kg or 5kg weights.

Question 7

Can I get my order delivered?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we deliver within the Perth Metro area to your nominated address, which can also include the address where your event is being held. E.g., Bunnings.
We deliver from 6am until 8pm, Monday - Friday, and 6am until 12pm Saturday & Sunday.
We can also arrange deliveries after hours if required.
Our minimum order for delivery is $150.00
The onions are packed in sealed 5 kg bags and are delivered in foam boxes for convenience of storage.
The bread rolls are delivered in sealed bags of 12 and come on bread crates, and the sausages are delivered in plastic-lined boxes and are chilled right up until the time of delivery.

Payment Options?

We accept payment in several ways and payment advice can be arranged at the time of order placement.
ONLINE
You can pay your invoice online by simply clicking on the link attached to the invoice that is emailed to you via credit card. There is a 1.75% card surcharge for invoices paid by card payment and receipts are issued via email address supplied
BANK TRANSFER
We also accept payment via bank deposit as our invoices have our bank account details included.  Receipts are issued via email address supplied.
EFTPOS
We can accept mobile Credit & Debit card EFTPOS payments through our mobile card reader on delivery. Mobile EFTPOS payments incur a 1.75% surcharge to cover Merchant Fees and receipts are issued immediately via email or phone number supplied at time of payment.
CASH ON DELIVERY
We also accept cash on delivery. Receipt will be issued on payment.
